We're getting ready to go late tonight. First we have to pack our "soup" packages which we got from the Gleaners right here in Cambridge. This is an organization that collects veggies from various wholesalers and dehydrates it and then packs it in 3LB bags to ship to third world countries to various organizations feeding the poor. This particular organization here in Nicaragua is called Child Evangelism Fellowhip, run by Peter and Yessania Tigchelaar. They feed up to 500 street kids every week and one three lb package feeds 100. We are well loaded down with soup and managed to bring about 500 lbs.
